A panel of public health professionals will discuss how Summit County reacted to the recent Ebola situation during a lunch presentation by the Akron Press Club on Monday, Nov. 17.
Lunch will be at 11:45 a.m. and the program will follow. There will be the opportunity for questions. This event is co-sponsored by the University of Akron Center for Emergency Management and Homeland Security Policy and the university’s Public Health Law and Science Center.
The panelist are:
- Terry O’Sullivan, director of the Center for Emergency Management and Homeland Security Policy Research at the University of Akron.
- Donna Skoda, Summit County Public Health assistant health commissioner.
- Katherine A. Van Tassel, director of the Public Health Law and Science Center and Health Law Program at the University of Akron.
- $20 for Press Club members, $25 for non-members.
- Early bird discount of $15 for members and $20 for non-members for reservations made by Monday, Nov. 10.
