Eric Nuzum, vice president for programming at National Public Radio, will speak at the Akron Roundtable on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at noon at the Quaker Station on the campus of The University of Akron.
Nuzum's speech topic is "Dare to Listen." He will discuss how NPR and member stations are approaching a variety of topics, including the changing media landscape and the unique place that NPR stations maintain in the lives of listeners, NPR's efforts to look and sound more like America, ways that NPR and stations are innovating with new programming and how NPR is handling coverage of the 2012 elections.
