The Akron Press Club is excited to announce a new location for its monthly luncheons: the historic Goodyear Hall, located at 1201 East Market Street in Akron. Programs will be held in the East End Community Room on the second floor. This iconic venue, part of Akron’s historic Goodyear campus, provides a modernized setting rich with history, offering attendees a unique and memorable experience.
Goodyear Hall once housed the World of Rubber, Goodyear Gift Shop, and the company’s exhibition hall. Today, it retains its original 1,500-seat theater and gymnasium, updated with contemporary amenities.
Convenient Location and Parking
Parking is available in surface lots on Goodyear Boulevard, with additional parking at the corner of Goodyear Boulevard and East Market Street. Patrons must enter through the East Market Street entrance marked "Goodyear Hall" above the doors. The elevator to the second floor opens directly in front of the East End Community Room.
